CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL:
The chair is made of 100% high quality polypropylene without impurities with other recyclable materials. Polypropylene is highly resistant to weight and water, while it has high resistance to temperatures up to 125 degrees Celsius. Also, its durability is not limited to weight, water and temperature but it is unusually resistant to many chemical solvents, acids and bases.
Mini Story: Polypropylene was discovered relatively recently (in 1950) by Fontana, while the synthesis of isostatic polypropylene (semi-crystalline) which has industrial applications was made in 1954 by Giulio Natta, who shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Karl Ziegler in 1963.
MAINTENANCE:
Polypropylene chairs are easy to clean with a damp cloth. In fact, if they are outdoors, they can be cleaned directly with running water.
